Mary Bezzini is the President and CEO of Godman Power Group, Inc., a Virginia-based engineering services firm that build turnkey energy systems worldwide. She is an internationally recognized expert in the field of energy, software integration, security, and compliance, with particular depth in deploying microgrid technology and turbines. She has worked on contracts with the U.S. Army, the U.S. Navy, the Department of Justice, and the Department of Homeland Security. In 2015, she was tapped to serve as a U.S. Trade Mission delegate on President Obama’s team to the Africagua Conference in the Canary Islands, Spain, where she met with West African representatives and Energy Ministers to discuss energy development on the African continent over the next five years.

Godman Power Group has fossil fuel and renewable energy microgrid projects deployed in Africa and the Caribbean, and are conducting power feasibility studies in Africa. The company is a registered US government contractor and registered vendor with the United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM).

The company provides design, development and deployment of energy systems, operational support services, and product sales. Domestic and International compliance training is offered in a variety of formats and languages.

In 2014, Godman Power Group was honored to receive the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Small Business Award by the Women’s Business Center of Northern Virginia, and a winner of Capital One’s Count Me In Business Accelerator Program in 2015. She is a featured guest speaker for the US Department of Commerce, Small Business Administration, and conferences on microgrid technology and doing business internationally.

Ms. Bezzini holds BA and MAIS degrees from George Mason University in Virginia, with advanced coursework and training in energy and power engineering.
