Frank Elswick is the Domestic and International Business Unit Manager for Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc.’s GreenPave Natural Paving Division. Frank began his career with Midwest in 1991 as the Western United States Regional Manager for dust control and roadbed stabilization projects. In 2001, Midwest became more focused on the need to develop environmentally friendly roadbed stabilization and natural paving technologies to meet the increasing worldwide need and demand.
In 2002, Frank was named the Business Unit Manager for Midwest’s GreenPave Soil Stabilization and Natural Paving Technologies Division, tasked with growing the business internationally, product and process development, project oversight and brand development. Today, Midwest’s GreenPave Stabilization and Natural Paving technologies, encompass sub-base stabilization prior to paving, roadbed stabilization utilizing in place native soils as the final running surface, chip seal surfaces utilizing organic binders, porous pavements and a stable of proven products and processes to address any soil type or condition. Midwest provides engineered solutions, in-house laboratory soil testing that meets ASTM and other applicable standards, site evaluations to assure the correct stabilizing methods and techniques are utilized with the product chemistry that will maximize performance of the in place soils.
Frank has been instrumental in the development of new product chemistries, improving and fine-tuning construction process implementation and development and implementation of new product lines such as porous pavements, organic chip seal surfacing and superior roadbed stabilization processes. Midwest has received awards for 7 of the past 9 years as one of the INC. Magazines 5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies in America. The GreenPave Stabilization and Natural Paving Division has been a large contributor to that growth.
Frank has developed natural paving and stabilization projects throughout the world. Over the past 25 years, he has provided guidance to projects in the U.S.A., Europe, Africa, South America, Canada and the Middle East.
