WASTE TO ENERGY PROJECT

WASTE TO ENERGY PROJECT: IIB-DG WASTE TO ENERGY PROJECT on MAY 16, 2022. Genniz Engineering, Surveying and Environmental Consultant Services Limited (GESECSL) is developing a ($1,606,882,199 USD ) one billion Six hundred and Six Million, Eight hundred and eight-two thousand one hundred ninety –nine USD Waste to Energy at Chongwe Municipal Council of Lusaka Province in Zambia.

This joint venture will bring into Zambia an Invest of about approximately 1.3 billion dollars. 60% of it will come in equipment form and 40% will come in monetary form. Projections done over a 5-year period show that the project is financially viable and worth undertaking with the Net Present Value (NPV) being positive (above 0) at 5%, 10%, 13% and 16% respectively.
