TAIN WATER PROJECT

TAIN WATER PROJECT by TAIN WATER GHANA LIMITED acquired on April 26, 2022 for water and sanitation project. The project will consist of:

1. Construction of a Weir Dam on the Black Volta River at New Longoro, Bamboi, downstream of the Bui Hydro Electric Power Dam in Ghana
2. Water sourced will be piped and transmitted to Sekondi-Takoradi through Bamboi Wenchi –Sunyani-Kumasi-Cape Coast and Sekondi-Takoradi, about 600km route.
3. Water Treatment Plants and boosters shall be provided along the transmitting Pipeline to treat water and sell to Ghana Water Company for local distribution and also bottled for export.
4. Part of the raw water will be used for irrigation and livestock farms sited on acquired lands along the Pipeline
5. Road will be constructed on the side of the pipeline to protect and maintain the pipeline
6. Gas Powered Electricity Generating Plant shall be constructed to service the system to avoid reliance on the National electricity grid.
