SCI FDK: Project Objectives (desired state): Improve the marketing and competitiveness of horticultural products through significant support for agri-food logistics and the construction of storage, conservation and packaging units in the main vegetable and fruit production areas (Niayes, Vallée du Senegal River, Eastern Senegal (Tambacounda and Kolda regions), Casamance (Ziguinchor region), and Peanut Basin. Improve the efficiency of strategic supply chains of perishable agricultural products (staple foodstuffs: onion, potato, carrot, tomato, cabbage, sweet potato, mango, banana), with the spreading of the availability period , and their marketing on the Senegalese market and abroad (exports) by reducing post-harvest losses. Improve the competitiveness of horticultural export production to ensure a more effective contribution to the country’s economic growth.
