This here communicates and serves as a confirmation of the following:

1. This Prieska Solar project is a Private Self Build project and NOT an IPP project and do not tender in the IPP process of the Department of Energy (DoE) or Government, We will build our own 132KV transmission lines and as is not dependant on Eskom for infrastructure as long as we build according to Eskom specifications. We can use our own independent company to build the transmission lines and step up substations.
2. The status of the project is that it is shovel ready for the first 300 hectares of land that has undergone the Environment Impact Assessment (EIA) Process and approved, ready for site establishment. The balance of the 1160 hectares of land is desktop ready, 90% complete and prepared for the submission for EIA approval, which will take about 6 months to approval but will not delay the construction of the project in any way as part of the formal process new employment opportunities and contribute to the economy of the region.
