BUSINESS PLAN OF RUBAVU CEMENT FACTORY by RUBAVU CEMENT FACTORY LTD acquired on August 26, 2022.

This project is requesting the investment funds of Three hundred Million US Dollars (USD 300,000,000) to finance the project of Rubavu Cement Factory LTD in Rubavu District in Rwanda, East Africa. We prefer the Joint venture partnership or equity sharing options of financing. The total cost of the project is Three hundred thirty million USD Dollars (USD 330,000,000) and equity contribution of the owner is Thirty million USD Dollars (USD30,000,000). The repayment of these funds will be made in 10 years with interest rate of 1% per year. The capacity production of Rubavu Cement Factory is 6,000 tons per day or 2,000,000 tons per year.

The statutory, legal requirements and necessary approvals have been met and approved by relevant Government of Rwanda authorities.

These funds will be used mainly for construction works of main factory of cement mills with cement machines, Administration building, Cement Laboratories, cement stores, Health Center, 12 houses, canteen, hostel for 200 night workers, parking for 300 trucks, intern roads, fencing and gardens; and for working capital funds. Our cement is much needed in our region: many new roads and buildings are still under construction throughout the country and abroad especially in Burundi and eastern DRC, and other types of infrastructure. The quality of our cement 32.5 and 42.5 will be an additional asset for many customers.

Now in Rwanda, our existing production capacity is only 40% of the market demand in Rwanda. We import 60% cement from Hima Cement in Uganda, Tanzania Kilimanjaro Cement, Simba Cement in Tanzania, Dangote Cement, Twiga Cement in Tanzania,.. There is no market problem for our cement Most of our customers want to have long-term contracts (at least 5 years) cement supply for more than 5,000 tons per day. There are also more than 200 cement stores who will buy our cement regularly.
